To my patients,
I am writing to inform you that after 43 years of practicing ophthalmology, I have made the difficult decision to retire, effective June 30, 2024. It has been a privilege to care for each one of you over the years and I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me.
I want to assure you that your future eye care is of the utmost importance to me. I leave you in the good hands of my physician partners at Longview Ophthalmology Associates. Many of you have met Dr. Craig King and Dr. Jonathan Walgama in the past and I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our team of doctors, Dr. Margaret Littlejohn. Dr. Littlejohn, a native of Longview, will be joining Longview Ophthalmology Associates in July 2024. She is excited to be coming back to Longview to practice and she is looking forward to assisting you with your future eye care.
Of course, you may seek care from another physician if desired. Your medical records are confidential but can be transferred to another physician or released to you only with your permission. If you would like this done, you must come to the office to sign the necessary paperwork.
I have greatly valued our relationship and thank you for your loyalty. I wish you continued health and happiness in the future.
Sincerely,
Michael Guillory, M.D.
